

Santa and His Mischievous Huskies and the accompanying scene is
a first in a limited edition series for 1998. Only 11 will be
created with one being retained by the artist, one donated,
and 9 to be sold at a purchase price of $400 (U.S. Dollars).
The scene includes:
Laughing Santa with handsculpted, clay head, fired and handpainted
with no molds used. Each head is unique yet similar. Santa stands
14"-15" tall with a handmade soft sculpture ready-to-pose body.
Doll stand included. Hands are also of sculpted clay with one hand
pointing and one sculpted to hold a snowshoe.
All of Santa's clothes are handmade. He is dressed in a handknit mohair
sweater, black wool pants with pockets and suspenders, wolf print, polar
fleece jacket with fake fur lining and handmade clay, paw-print buttons,
polar fleece, paw-print hat, and fake-fur mittens with suede palms.
The Three Miniature Siberian Huskies are also handmade. One is red/white, one is
black/white, and one is grey/white. (Also available as Alaskan Malamute
or Samoyed) Two are in a standing position and one is in play position.
Each Husky has a braided leather-like collar and harness.
The sled is made in Alaska by Kema sleds. Added to the sled for detail
is a snowhook holder, snowhook with leather-like line, brake, ultra-suede,
sled bag, and a 3 dog, leather-like gangline. Along with the sled are
a pair of wooden skis and polls and a pair of snowshoes.
The scene has many miniature, working toys including a jack-in-the-box,
a board game,a foosball table, an etch-a-sketch, a toy truck, an ant farm,
a teddy bear, a doll, a stick pony, a sock monkey, a wooden, rocking horse,
a team of army men, a troll, a plastic horse, a fairy tale book, an
activity book, a mini box of dog biscuits, and clay raw-hideish dog
chews
The Scene also includes a certificate of authenticity signed and numbered
by the artist Bonnie Lundberg. It will be included with a framed copy
of "The Story".
